How the Homes Together Model works
Step 1: Fund your Contribution
Use capital from the sale of your existing property, savings, or other sources to fund your Capital Contribution for the home of your choice.
Step 3: Make your Capital Contribution
Contribute $300k (1 bedroom) or $400k (2 bedrooms) from your sale proceeds. This secures your long term right to occupy the home. The rest of your capital is yours to keep and enjoy.
Step 5: Get your contribution back on exit
When you choose to leave, or if circumstances change, your full capital contribution is returned to you. There is no exit fee and no deferred management fee.
Step 2: Choose your home
Select a 1 or 2 bedroom home within the Homes Together community. No large mortgage is required.
Step 4: Move in
Receive a long term lease registered against the property title for your security and peace of mind. You have exclusive occupation rights for as per the agreement.
Independent Legal Advice
Before entering into a Homes Together Agreement, you will be required to obtain independent legal advice from a solicitor who will explain the full terms to you.
